In order to prioritize and organize my ‘to-do’ list, I’ve started creating two lists. One for “to-do” and one for “Wishing”. The “to-do” list are things we need or should get done. The rest are things we’d like to have done but do not actually need.

Jack and I have always wanted a home theater and had tentative plans to actually work on creating one in our family room. Surround sound, big TV, etc. We got a 46″ LCD TV right after the old house sold so we have now. The next step was to get a surround sound system. Before my job ended, we had been looking at Bose systems. Now? It’s moved from our “to-do” list to our “wish list”. But since it’s now on a wish list, I’m dreaming big. Wouldn’t it be cool to have theater seating, complete with a pop corn machine? I watched an episode of Home Makeover a while back and a wife created a total movie setup for her husband in their family room. I drooled the entire episode. Maybe someday when the kids are grown and out of the house, we can turn the boys’ room into a mini movie theater!
