Who the heck is John Chow? And Why Would I Care?
I keep seeing this name pop up in my reader. People criticizing him, questioning his motives, or model after him. I’ve seen his name and blog show up on forums, too. Stuff like “well John Chow did ____” (fill in the blank) and people are all like “oooohhh”. The first time I read a blog about him, I figured the blog owner knew him or something. So I did some research… and I’m not getting it. Seriously, why is he such a big deal? His blog is ridiculous. There are so many ads and junk that my Norton anti virus had a cow. It’s so ad packed that I have no idea what the blog is about other than the title: “I Make Money Online by Telling People How Much Money I Make Online”. It looks like a splog to me. I understand the criticism, but why would anyone want to model after him or track his moves? Anyone want to enlighten me?

Hi,
I don’t know John Chow personally, but I can tell you for one that his name in your title led me here through blogrush. So you already have him to thank. I guess he’s popular cause of the way he makes money making online look easy. His greatest asset in my opinion is that he gives all this information free. Modelling after him, I don’t know but learning from him is of great benefit if you must achieve the aim of working from home on your computer. I run http://www.3rdworldblogger.com, and my primary aim is to turn it into a worthy online investment that would impact on the lives of others positively. I guess some may say, just like JohnChow.com
Hi Tracie! As far as I know, John Chow is milking his blog for thousands of bucks a month. He’s making serious money out of blogging that’s why people are really tracking his every move. And since he is making lots of money out of blogging, he also has some cash to shell out for advertising.
When you google make money online, I believe he pops up as the first one.
I hope I somehow helped you understand why John Chow keeps popping up
To true! His blog used to be interesting, but now he’s just in it for the money.
