I was all set to post about my busy week and it being only Tuesday and that I have a billion and one things to do before Christmas… But there’s nothing special about that. Who isn’t busy?

This is worth mentioning though: we totally scored by getting a parking space only 10 spaces down from the FRONT at the mall. That’s a major accomplishment right there.

We were at the mall today because it was Sissa’s actual birthday. Even though we celebrated her birthday in August we wanted to do something today so we moseyed around the mall a bit, and happened to wander by the piercing place, and happened to find some really cute butterfly earrings, and it just so happened she got her ears pierced. Coincidence? Nah.. we had it planned all along. Her face was adorable when I asked if she wanted the butterfly earrings… she said “uh… mom….??” She’s been wanting to do it but I brushed it off till today. She was so cute and so excited. She chose her birthstone for the piercing studs and we picked up the butterfly earrings for when she’s able to change out of the piercing studs.

On another note… I am really tired of dealing with insurance companies. I have two of them hounding me right now over the little incident that happened a few weeks ago (that didn’t involve us directly but we kinda sorta technically own one of the vehicles involved — it’s a long story). The reason they are hounding me is because it appears no one at either agency can get their stories straight… you’d think this was the first car accident in the world with the amount of misinformation I’ve been given. You know… if I called THEM to get a life insurance quote or a car insurance quote, they’d be sweet as pie and have all the answers. But if there’s a claim involved they turn on ya. *sigh*
