Weekends (and Chihuahuas) Rule
I had the most awesome weekend. No stress, no worries about jobs, just good ole’ quality time with my family. Casey also celebrated his 9th birthday so there was major birthday-boy partying going on!
Friday I got to talk to my best bud at my old job. He’s doing so well and I was so glad to hear it. This is someone I talked to every day for 3.5 years! We got close enough that we got on each others nerves sometimes, heh. But I’ve missed the daily interaction with him and it was good to talk to him on Friday and hear how much more relaxed and happy he sounds. Losing the job was a blessing in disguise for him and I’m thrilled for him. I’m still waiting to find the blessing for me. I know it’s there and I’m coming around. And for the most part I’m doing great. I just have these little lost moments where I get almost panicky that I need … must be working! *breathes*
One bright side: My house is always clean, laundry is almost always caught up, and I have more time to read blogs, forums, and even the news. Today I read this article, Tiny Dog Saves Baby From Rattlesnake and it cracked me up. (How scary, though!) I knew there was a reason I liked Chihuahuas!
