I'm neither diabetic, nor allergic to Aspartame. I will say this though, I can imagine, and through friends' experiences that Diabetes is certainly not an easy disease to manage, and I sure as heck know that I would fail miserably with it. For you I'd imagine the easiest decision is the diet cola, given that you're likely not allergic to the Aspartame. It really is too bad there aren't other alternatives. I will say this though, I can imagine, and through friends’ experiences that Diabetes is certainly not an easy disease to manage, and I sure as heck know that I would fail miserably with it. For you I’d imagine the easiest decision is the diet cola, given that you’re likely not allergic to the Aspartame.

It really is too bad there aren’t other alternatives.

To make matters worse, I've give up all pop, even diet pop...so my choice at restaurants is usually water. My husband actually carried a diet green tea into a restaurant the other night, and just asked for ice. Oh well... It's not geared towards the diabetic thats for sure..
