I've been SO lucky this winter. Even here in Florida we get our fair share of colds and flus. My mom and sister have been particularly susceptible. My daughter and I have somehow sidestepped MOST of it, but with allergy season coming this month, my immune system gets low and I get sick more often.

Do your colds come in phases like mine do? Mine always start in my ears, then my throat, then my chest -- and then they don't go away until I start hacking and coughing so badly that it feels like I'm going to choke to death on snot. Then after a few days the coughing finally stops and I start to heal. Hopefully by Friday you're good as new.
