Taking up residence

This cold has decided to take up residence for a while and is starting to settle into my lungs. Isn’t that nice of it? Last night I fell asleep on the couch while Jack was working (it was monthly downtime for him at work.. so yea.. he worked two weekends in a row) and when he got home at 5 AM and woke me up, my chest hurt so bad I felt like I’d need one of those stair lifts to get me upstairs and into bed. Instead I just took it slow then literally fell into bed where I tried to will this cold to go away. It didn’t work… It was still here and possibly a bit worse this morning. PLEASE by gone by Friday (my birthday). Please, please please.
