Friday night we knew there was an ice storm pending so we did what everyone else does, we went shopping. Mainly to get the staples (like coffee!). I also realized I only had enough of my Metformin to last me till Sunday morning. Oops. Luckily the store we were at had a pharmacy that was still open and I happened to have the prescription in my purse. The pills they gave me were different, as in, different shape, different numbers on the pills, etc. I asked the pharmacist about that, and she explained that different places might use different brands.

Well, I feel like I’m having to adjust to the medication all over again. Nausea, etc. I wonder if that’s normal? The dosage is the same…so you’d think they’d be the same thing? Maybe it’s all in my head… or maybe I’m coming down with sometime. ? …
