Last night Jack and I watched the movie, Next with Nicolas Cage. Basically it’s about a Las Vegas magician who can see into the future. But only two minutes into the future. Nicolas Cage is one of my favorite actors and I’ve enjoyed most of his movies. This one I have mixed feelings about. It’s good in the sense that it’s thought provoking. We discussed what we would do if we had that ability. But the story had too many holes in it especially at the end.
What would you do if you could see two minutes into the future?

Last night hubby and I tried to watch Meet the Robinsons but had to turn it off mid-movie because we couldn’t stand it anymore.
Nicholas Cage is also one of my favorite actors. I find he tries to choose parts that he can do well with and is mostly successful.
As for holes in the movie, well, anything that deals with things that we don’t have a precise science for is going to have holes. It’s fun to allow your imagination to take over and not be so logical ALL the time! Not all movies HAVE to have perfect science or make perfect sense.
Hugs,
Maggie
Hi Maggie,
I agree that sometimes it’s good to leave holes in the story but this one I felt left out some important ones. I liked the movie overall though.
