Metformin

So I’m not liking the Metformin much. They said it might make me a little nauseous. Ha. It wasn’t so bad Friday and Saturday… but yesterday afternoon (Sunday) and now today it’s been awful. Like morning sickness where you feel like you’re gonna throw up but never actually do. Today is almost unbearable and at one point I experienced another “side effect” that goes along with being sick that isn’t fun at all. I sure hope this settles.

It’s bringing my blood sugars down though. My fastings are still over 150 but that’s better than over 240!

  1. The medication doesn’t make me sick to my stomach, but I sure am tired all the time. I haven’t done any blood sugar tests yet because I’m being taught how to use the machine tomorrow. Good luck, dear, I sure hope your body gets used to it and the sickness passes.

  2. ((Tracie)) I’m sorry it makes you nauseous. I still can’t get over the way you slipped through the cracks. I know you say you were in denial, but someone really should have made it more clear to you.
