Today we’re having a lazy day. I think we’re entitled. Our weekends have been a flurry of activity for what seems like months. I should be cleaning out the fridge. Or doing laundry. The downstairs bathroom needs a once over, and the carpets and floors need swept and vacuumed. I should clean the dusty blinds and do some dishes. But I just don’t care. Not today. Maybe I will tomorrow. Today I’m going to pretend we’re hanging out in one of these North Padre Island rentals and take it easy. Just for a day.
