Exhausted but Happy!
After such a big weekend, I’m totally spent. If I had the money I’d fly to one of these Pennsylvania bed and breakfasts to recuperate.
lol…
I was a bit disappointed in our William Tell experience, though. Well… maybe disappointed is a bit strong of a word. I did have fun, and I know the kids did (they were not ready to leave) but I think they charged us too much. Or the day trip charge with a family cap was outrageous. I’m pretty sure we’ve spent that for a whole weekend, not just a day.
The kids got to shoot archery in the Adult/Child competition. Cody paired up with Nathan, Casey paired up with his dad, and I was thoroughly impressed that Kevin and Melissa paired up. It’s wonderful to see those two get along! I got to join in the ladies Bocce Ball tournament then Melissa did the children’s Bocce Ball tourney. Both of us won one round each but did not win overall. Ralph took home the William Tell banner for the third year in a row. Two more years and it’s his to keep! *crosses fingers*
I think going on the last day wasn’t the greatest because a lot of people were packing up to go home so I just feel like we missed out on a lot for what we paid for. But the day was fun overall. So really I really should not complain at all. Technically we have one more weekend of Summer before school starts, but this was our last big one. Next weekend we’ll be doing the last minute stuff to get ready for school and chillin’ at home. This really was a such a great weekend for us and the kids, and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!
